Bristol Rovers v Brentford Preview

Brentford aim to push on after their excellent performance and victory over Sheffield Wednesday last weekend with a visit to Paul Trollope's men in the blue and white half of Bristol.

Brentford will be up against former favourite Jo Kuffour who still seems to be banging them in year on year.

The Bees have no new injury problems and may start with the team that began against Wednesday but that would mean no place for Nicky Adams who has certainly caught the eye since his late arrival from Leicester City. Simpson clearly deserves his place too and moved up front when Adams came on as sub last Sunday.

We should expect Micky Spillane to start his third game in a row after Andy Scott's comments that 'ideally we want to keep Karleigh in the centre of defence and Kevin in the centre of midfield.'

Brentford have only lost one in the last five games in all competitions and at least two of those were with very impressive performances. Let's hope the bees can keep buzzing [groan].
