Sheffield Wednesday Preview

Brentford have slim hopes of still making it to the play-offs but their opponents tomorrow, Sheffield Wednesday are just one point behind local rivals United for the last automatic promotion spot.

With United without top scorer Ched Evans and 5 wins and a draw in the last six for in-form Wednesday they will fancy their chances. By coincidence United are playing Stevenage who we need to lose to have any chance of prolonging our season.

Wednesday being so close might suffer from the jitters while the bees can relax, play their game and use the last home match of the season to give the fans a good performance before the summer break.

Richard Lee may still be suffering from his shoulder injury while Clinton Morrison will not be available to play against his parent club. I'm not sure how much of a loss that will be as he hasn't had that much playing time for us and although has shown some nice touches is still not on the score sheet.

Uwe has promised some surprises and wants the bees to go out on a high. He's so inscrutable that man!

Douglas and Donaldson are both in line to make their 50th appearances for Brentford. Already? They've only been here 5 minutes!

It also looks like being Karleigh's 185th and final home game for the bees.

The maths:

Brentford need to win tomorrow and Stevenage lose. That will take the season to the last game with still mathematical chance of a play off place for the bees.

Prediction: Bees 0 - 2 Wednesday
