Transfer Talk

Beesotted rounds up this week's Bees gossip

Reports in the Hounslow Chronicle today have linked Brentford with free agent Christian Ribeiro. The 22 year old Welsh international has been released by Bristol City and with talks with Shaleum Logan believed to have stalled Uwe Rosler is in the market for a new right back - with the 6 footer fitting the bill nicely.

Brentford have this week held talks with Moroccan striker Farid El Alagui who scored 27 goals for Falkirk last season. The hitman is also being chased by Kilmarnock and St Johnstone.

Midfield target Scott Robertson of Dundee United has tweeted his farewells to supporters of the Scottish side. The Bees face competition from Championship side Ipswich for his signature as well as other clubs north of the border.

Full back Sam Wood who was released by Brentford earlier in the summer looks to be heading for Wycombe Wanderers once their current transfer embargo is lifted. He has also attracted interest from AFC Wimbledon.
