Wantaway defender Craig Woodman has left Griffin Park after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The steady left back had lost his place in the Brentford XI last season to Jake Bidwell and is believed to be attracting interest from the likes of Exeter City in his quest for a regular starting berth.
With no recognised left back at the club (Pim Balkestein can fill in there) Brentford will be hoping that Bidwell returns to Griffin Park in some capacity - although it is believed that Uwe has other targets in his sights too.
Beesotted would like to wish Craig Woodman the very best in his future career - he didn't lack effort in a Brentford shirt but it is clear that Uwe prefers a full back with more attacking endeavour.
In total Woodman made 76 appearances for Brentford, scoring two goals.
