No longer Pim's O'Clock
Pim Balkestein has terminated his Brentford contract by mutual consent in order to join AFC Wimbledon
The big Dutchman originally impressed at Griffin Park on loan during the 2009/2010 season. After months of pursuit by Andy Scott he then signed permanent terms in the summer of 2010 despite European interest.
Unfortunately Pim seemed to then suffer a crisis of confidence and never really hit the heights he had previously reached in a Brentford shirt, spending time on loan last season at Rochdale and AFC Wimbledon.
Beesotted wishes Pim the very best for the future at our London neighbours and hope that regular first team football helps him recapture his potential.
