Hayes friendly tonight

Brentford will play Hayes United in a pre-season tonight at WOKING FC which is Hayes' temporary home. Kick off is at 19.45.

Whilst the game might bring horrific flashbacks to some of Ron Noades' dastardly plan to move Brentford FC to Woking... it should also be a chance to see some of the first XI in action.

Last week's 5-0 win at Hampton mainly featured academy squad players but it's likely more first teamers will be on show tonight given that the academy squad played at Banbury last night (in a 1-0 loss).

The first team squad lost 3-2 to a pretty strong Spurs team on Saturday (behind closed doors) with Donaldson and Weston our goalscorers so this would give them a chance for another competitive run out before they depart for Germany on Friday.

Some academy players - including Luke Norris, Jake Reeves and Manny Oyeleke - didn't play last night so are likely to get a run out this evening instead. Uwe Rosler may also give another chance to impressive triallists Leon Redmond and Josh Robinson.
