Redwood signs

Triallist left back Leon Redwood has earnt a one year contract at Griffin park

The 20 year old - recently released by Brighton - has impressed with his attacking endavour and will initially join up with the academy squad.

Brentford are still lacking a first choice left back - although former Milwall man Tony Craig can play there comfortably - with Uwe Rosler still chasing Everton loanee Jake Bidwell.

If a move for Bidwell falls through - with the season just eight days away - then Redwood may get a chance in the first team squad sooner rather than later
