'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brentford v Colchester United Preview

Brentford will welcome back Marcus Bean who left us in the summer after a 4 year stint in the red and white stripes alongside Clinton Morrison who was on loan from Sheffield Wednesday for the last couple of months.

They will both have something to prove as neither were offered a new contract by Uwe at the end of last season. Bean in particular was positively thought of by Bees fans, popular for his effort if sometimes seeming a little limited in creativity. He has promised not to celebrate if he scores - which is nice if a little presumptuous. Morrison on the other hand would likely do a lap of honour cupping his hand to his ear if he does score - the cheeky wee scamp!

Changes are likely to the bees starting line up after a poor first half last week against Walsall. Bidwell is likely to replace Barron at left back giving us a bit more solidity and some drive going forward and hopefully some dangerous balls into the box. The other change is likely to be Adam Forshaw coming in. Last week he replaced Dave but it could be Kev this time round who makes way. Saunders's place might also be in jeopardy following some average to poor performances. Uwe has talked of Paul Hayes being tip of the diamond, Forrester could also fill that spot. I would expect Richard Lee to come back at some point soon. It could be tomorrow.

Three points would be nice but I expect a tough afternoon in the sweltering sun. A draw then.
