Harry 2 Harry 2

Harry 2 Harry 2

A wonderful goal from sub Harry Forrester earnt Brentford a point at Dean Court tonight as Bournemouth drew their fourth consecutive home game.

Brentford took the lead in the game when one of the home defenders aptly carthorsed the ball into his own net in front of the Steve Fletcher stand

Jonathan Douglas then missed a good chance to double the lead with a header before Bournemouth went up a few gears. Before long the home side were 2-1 up after a header and a penalty (given for a foul on Lewis Grabban who seemed to go to ground easily under the weight of his stupid beard).

Bournemouth then missed a few decent chances as Brentford's midfield chased shadows and their defence did even less - Tony Craig struggled again tonight and it can surely only be a matter of time before Leon Legge returns to the team

Eventually Uwe brought on Forrester for Dave and the former Villa man made a couple of lovely jinking runs before levelling the scores with a classic strike. Uwe plans to start him on Saturday.

There was still time for Dean to miss a header and for Clayton to balloon one before the final whistle.

A decent enough away point but we were battered at times.

Oldham are our next opponents - at GP on Saturday

Bees - Moore, Logan, Bidwell, Dean, Craig, Dave (Harry), Adeymi (Kev), Douglas, Forshaw, Farid (Hayes), Donaldinho

Unused Bees (Lee and Gounet have knocks) - Barron, Fredericks, Saunders, Legge
