Forward James Spencer to sign

Brentford are to sign forward James Spencer on a month long loan from Huddersfield.

Twenty year old 6ft 1in ultra-loyal Spencer signed for Huddersfield at the age of 7 years and rose through the ranks of the juniors and youth team.

He was loaned to Morecambe for the 2010/11 season where he scored 8 goals in 32 appearances. The fans' view from Morecambe 'Jimmy's a young lad with lots of potential. Works very hard. He didn't really quite make it with Morecambe but to be fair he never really had a proper run in the team and got to find a partnership with another forward as the manager kept chopping and changing the team.'.

The following season he joined Cheltenham on loan last season where he scored 1 goal in 3 matches tallying a total of 6 over half a season and came on as a late substitute in the playoff final defeat to Crewe at Wembley.

Jimmy made his debut for Huddersfield this season but has been restricted to a couple of appearances and is obviously looking to get more regular games under his belt.

For the record, as we are potentially about to put him in the shop window, it's good to know that his contract with Huddersfield expires at the end of 2014.

Jimmy will score you goals...He's positive, direct, works hard, and always looks dangerous ... Imo he's good enough to play in our first team, unfortunatly for Jimmy there are quality strikers ahead of him at the club...Look after him...
