Brentford managed to see out a difficult game at Bradford for a draw to ensure that they are in the FA Cup Round Three draw
The Bees were slow to start last night in front of just under 200 travelling supporters but eventually Adam Forshaw and Harry Forrester started to take a grip of the game.
Brentford went in front when leading scorer Clayton Donaldson - booed throughout by his home town supporters - seized on a defensive error to slot home.
Donaldson could have doubled our lead after the interval but his swift turn and shot appeared to be snuffed out at source by the keepers face.
On the hour mark Bradford made three changes and went for the jugular with an aerial bombardment. It paid off when Hanson equalised ten minutes later and the Yorkshiremen were the dominant side thereafter with the post denying them a winner.
Brentford held out for the final whistle and a return tie at Griffin Park later in December - weaker minded teams than this have lost under similar circumstances.
Bees - Lee, Logan, Bidwell, Dean, Craig, Forrester (Dallas), Dave, Forshaw, Saunders (Barron), Donaldson, Hayes (German)
Unused Bees - Moore, Redwood, Oyeleke, Pierre
