'What a performance

Douglas - the shaggy haired caveman outclassed Lampard and Ramires
When he won an early tackle, it set the tone for the first half and we pressed and they could not cope.

Ivanovic and Marin were made to look ordinary by Forrester, Forshaw and Logan. Torres touch was off and even Terry and Cahill looked ill at ease.Turnbull, in goal for Chelsea was hesitant and showed his lack of experience.

Enough of the visitors though - Great strike from Trotta to put us one up and into a deserved first half lead.

Mata came on and (i thought) turned the game in Chelsea's favour. His link up with Oscar provided the blues with some spark. Oscar's equaliser was a peach and I feared the worse.

The bees crowd was excellent and we got behind the team again. Rousing noise and tremendous support - we won a pen - a fair call by the ref, who had an excellent game, in my opinion.Forrester slotted home, and we hoped to hold on.Adeyemi (who had won the pen) was on, leaving just Donaldson up front.Barron came on for Harry the wizard, Saunders for Forshaw - Good tactical call from Rosler, as we hoped to soak up the pressure from the 100m team !

Demba Ba scooped a lucky foot out and it landed at Torres's feet, for the 2nd equaliser.

A late Saunders free kick flew way over the bar and the final whistle blew, the Brentford heroes cheered off

Excellent games from, man of the match, Douglas, Logan and Toumani. Couldn't fault the rest of the Bees !

Neat programme too

Onto Stamford Bridge - we'll be up for another battle, but Chelsea will be trying even more to vanquish our dreams.

After the game, there was reported trouble, from some Chelsea and some Brentford yobbos. It was blown a little out of porportion, and shouldn't feature in anyone's memories of the day"
