9 Points For Brentford To Play For (21/4/17)

9 Points For Brentford To Play For (21/4/17)

Brentford have only 9 points left to play for in this year's battle in the Championship.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Brentford find themselves heading towards the end of May, sitting in 11th place in the Championship table on 60 points but a continuing 13 point gap to Fulham in the final Play Off spot, an outside run for promotion is now mathematically off the cards.

However with one defeat in the last six, form is good and we go into the final three matches of the year looking to keep that momentum going ahead of the coming campaign.

Clearly sitting in 11th place and being 16 points ahead of Blackburn Rovers means nobody should be looking over their shoulders at any rate as that is now mathematically impossible, so a focus on the top ten and possibly the top eight has to be the aim.
