Sawyers Gets St Kitts & Nevis Call Up

Sawyers Gets St Kitts & Nevis Call Up

Brentford's Romaine Sawyers has been called into the St Kitts and Nevis squad for their two games this month.

The Caribbean Islanders have two tough trips to Eastern Europe across the next seven days, firstly Armenia on Sunday June 4 at the Republican Stadium in Yerevan and then they move on to Tbilisi to take on Georgia at the Boris Paichadze Stadium on Wednesday June 7.

With 19 caps for his country already, including four goals since his debut back in 2012, it's relatively old hat for the 25 year old now and with a good end to his first campaign at Griffin Park following his arrival from Walsall, he should go into these two games in good confidence.

This season for us of course he scored three times in 45 games.
