Yes they were great times. On comparison to now. Don't regret any of it,never a wasted moment. Made some great friends,loyal and true. The memories are sublime and ridiculous and also beautiful and true. WhatIhappened to me earlier this year on the slugs site has made mlong for those days back but alas that will never happen. I could tell so many stories. The likes of Alf Colin,Stan and Bill I can still touch. But so much has gone,not the least the understanding of how I feel by people like Briers and Inns. Brentford is on my heart as it was.

Remember Leeds Road when there entire end cleared and they came round behind us,superb punch up. Remember Stevie Philips asking if we needed a hand with a cheeky smile as he collected the ball for a throw on. He was joking but if hot a hattrick that night. Wonder if Uwe would know what to do with a Philips,McCulloch and Alder. Real players.

Ok sorry,but it works both ways. Inns needs to come clean and Briers needs to apologise for making remarks to which I had no recourse to and explain those remarks. They are not above the basic values of decency even if they believe they are.
