Brentford vs. Leeds

Griffin Park

12th Dec 09

3pm

All Tickety Boo

Brentford face Leeds United tomorrow at Griffin Park in an ALL TICKET game - with fans urged by the club to get to the ground as early as possible.

Vital Quotes:

Andy Scott - 'You have to make sure you are very strong and very disciplined against a side like Leeds. You have to restrict their chances going forwards as they have great ability on the ball.'

Brentford Team News:

Myles Weston and Mark Phillips have both been in light training this week so could return to the squad - with Weston the more likely to start the match.

John Bostock has returned unscathed from Tottenham's midweek youth cup game.

Player to watch: Leon Legge

The big defender, who has excelled recently and earnt a new contract this week, could have his work cut out tomorrow containing the different challenges of Jermaine Beckford and Sam Vokes

Leeds Team News:

Leeds welcome loanee trio Sam Vokes, Max Gradel and Hogan Ephraim back to their squad following their FA Cup win over Kettering.

Skipper Patrick Kisnorbo has a knee injury and is unlikely to feature.

Player to watch: Jermaine Beckford

All eyes will be on Beckford who has been linked with a string of Championship and Premiership sides.

The dynamic striker has 15 goals already in the league and has scored at Griffin Park before - when on loan at Scunthorpe in 2007.

Match Facts & Stats

Brentford have already beaten Norwich and Colchester at Griffin Park this season - proving that they can go toe to toe with the divisions livelier sides.

Sadly last time out we lost to Tranmere - a repeat of that level of performance could produce a humiliating result tomorrow.

Next Fixtures:

Brentford travel to MK Mongs / Franchise FC next weekend, 19th December.
