Brentford vs. Franchise McMongs

Griffin Park

Kev a doubt for Franchise clash

Brentford face MK Dons at Griffin Park tomorrow with stalwart Kevin O'Connor the main injury worry.

Vital Quotes:

Charlie Macdonald this week told Yourlocalguardian.co.uk :

"MK are a big side in this league and we have had no problem getting ourselves up for the big boys," he added.

"They`ve lost their best player in James Puncheon since we last played them.

"We put in a decent performance against Leeds and we need to back that up."

Brentford Team News:

Kev, who picked up a knock last week at Leeds, is likely to be replaced by Marcus Bean or ace blogger David Hunt.

Otherwise Brentford are likely to be unchanged with chested-goal specialist Ben Strevens partnering Charlie Macdonald up front.

Player to watch: Ryan Dickson

Dickson's presence in the team gives the whole team better shape, and at home (in particular) his galivating runs from left back can really drive the team forward.

Franchise McMongs Team News:

Sam Baldock faces a late fitness test but Doube and O'Hanlon should return to the squad.

Player to watch: Jermaine Easter

The former Wycombe man has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season and is always a threat.

Match Facts & Stats

MK Dons hail from the town of Milton Keynes which some regard as a soulless hell-hole. Rather than start their own football team, they simply stole one and deserve any contempt which comes their way.

Next up for Bees :

Brentford are on the road at Brighton on Tuesday (16th) and Stockport next Saturday (20th).
