Myles Weston

D.O.B.

12th March 1988

Position

Winger / Striker

Pen Pic

Myles, a pacy wide midfielder capped at England U16 and U17 level, joined Brenford in June 2009 from Notts County, with a transfer fee settled by tribunal as Myles was 21 at the time he signed

His impact on the team was immediate - Andy Scott playing him up front on his debut - and Weston responding with a brace (away at Carlisle Utd) - the first player to score two on his debut since Franny Joseph.

On his day Weston was unplayable, he particularly shone against Everton in the memorable League Cup win under the Griffin Park floodlights where he gave Seamus Coleman a torrid examination.

Weston featured as a player under two more managers - Nicky Forster and Uwe Rosler - but his form faltered and he became a bit part player capable of the odd flash of brilliance. He joined Martin Allen's Gillingham on 17th July 2012 and scored on his Gills debut.
