Deon only played for Brentford for one season (2004-2005) under Martin Allen - scoring ten times in forty game as the Bees lost out to Sheffield Wednesday in the playoffs

Whilst his goalscoring record wasn't superb, Deon - put simply - was an absolute joy to watch, with a fantastic touch and decent Aerial ability (his semi dreadlocked hair was often used to cushion the ball down).

Many fans were dissapointed when Deon was released, and he went on to a couple of hot goalscoring streaks for Yorkshire rivals Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday.
