Geordie Joe Allon joined The Bees from smaller West London club Chelsea in 1992
He stayed two years at Griffin park, scoring 28 goals in 56 games, before moving on to Port Vale
During his time at Brentford he once celebrated a goal against Barnet so vigorously that he was questioned by police after the game.
Allon left Brentford shortly after having his jaw broken in a training ground bust up with Micky Bennett
